Armstrong Teachers
As an administrator, I’ve had the opportunity to visit and observe hundreds of classrooms over the last 4-5 years. Although I’ve seen many great things in many different schools throughout the state, I’ve never witnessed the caliber of instruction I see each day during my visits into the Armstrong classrooms. Across the board, we have the most talented educators I’ve ever had the privilege to associate with. Armstrong teachers are ...
First Snow
The weather feels more winter-like all the time, and this week we had our first snow fall that actually stuck to the ground for a little while. With the arrival of the winter weather, we wanted to review some of the related expectations from the Code of Conduct. First off, expect it to be cold. Wear coats and other clothing appropriate for a Utah winter. For the most part, we continue to have outside recesses and line-up during the winter ...
Halloween Highlights
Thank you to all the families and friends of Neil Armstrong Academy who made the school’s first Halloween such a memorable day. The students were so excited to have such a grand audience for their parade. And, afterward, we had so many volunteers on site helping with the various class and grade-level activities. Such support goes a long way to impact the student experience that day and to reiterate to the students the value their parents ...
Volunteer Center
It’s a little later than we anticipated, but we’re prepared to open the Armstrong Volunteer Center on Monday, November 4th. The Volunteer Center is a specialty room found just off the main library and is reserved for the terrific Armstrong volunteers. The room is enclosed which helps prevent little ones from wandering off while volunteers are engaged in cutting, stapling, collating, etc. And, with plenty of seating, this could be a great ...

Each day, our young botanists can be found analyzing their plants and taking careful measurements for their ...
