Hello Bacchus families!  We hope you are all continuing to be safe and healthy!

We are excited to announce our ‘Bacchus Elementary Staff Parade” through the neighborhood this Friday, April 24th.  We miss seeing our students and we’ve decided to join in the fun and drive through our student’s neighborhood to visit from a distance.  You are invited to join us from your front yard or nearby street and share your appreciation for your teachers and aides with your cheerful face and signs.  We hope to see all of you on Friday!  

Below is a picture of the rote and attached is a PDF map showing the streets we will visit highlighted in yellow. We will begin the parade at 10:00 am and head to Copper City Drive over to Swanbridge.  We will weave through the neighborhood and finish up going west on Lodestone Ave. to the school.  

Get excited!!  It’s going to be fun!

Our April 9th Community Council meeting was rescheduled for Thursday, April 16th at 3:00 pm. This will be a “google meet” meeting which can be accessed by anyone through google meet. The meeting will have the code name’ bacchusssc’ which you can enter to join the meeting. We will be discussing the grade reconfiguration survey results.

Parents navigating Covid-19 with your children

Hello Parents and Students of Bacchus!

We are trying to communicate with you in a way that doesn’t bombard you with too many emails, but things do change and come up so please be patient with us and take the time to read the messages we do send.  

I am hearing great things from teachers about students’ engagement in this new learning format!  THANK YOU PARENTS for your daily support in this challenging time.  We recognize that many of you are working and trying to fit in distance learning on top of that.  We know that some of the work assigned may be something you aren’t familiar with or know how to do.  We just appreciate your efforts to help us make the most of this time.  THANK YOU STUDENTS for your dedication to school and learning!  You know what I say every morning during announcements, “Make it a great day and learn something new!”  

In our efforts to provide appropriate materials we have created a SHORT survey that we are asking parents to complete this weekend.  It will help guide us as we continue to provide distance learning.
