Giving Thanks

Here at Diamond Ridge, we are very fortunate to have the best students ever. How did they get to be so incredible? We have the best teachers, this is true. But we also have the best parents! Every day, moms, dads, and grandparents come through our doors to help our students. They read with them, they help them in small groups, they make sure all the materials are ready for a lesson. Good schools have amazing teachers. Great schools have amazing teachers AND stellar parents. Our students are outstanding because they leave home every day with the knowledge that they are loved. I witness this every single day as a particular girl opens her lunchbox to reveal a handwritten note, often accompanied by a sketch, from her mom. Our students come to school knowing that their family loves and supports them 100%. It has been said that, “Perhaps the most significant of all classrooms is the classroom of the home.” We would like all of our Diamond Ridge parents to know that we applaud and support you.
