Hello Diamond Ridge Patrons,
Please see the below communication from Granite School District regarding the statewide school mask mandate. Thank you for continuing to be vigilant in helping to keep our students, families, faculty and staff safe!
Dear Granite District Patrons and Employees,
We have received many questions or concerns about legislation regarding the statewide mask mandate. There is misinformation that masks will no longer be required on campus after April 10th. This legislation DOES NOT apply to schools which are under a different statewide order that expires in July.
We recognize that many of our employees have had opportunity to receive the COVID vaccine and that data indicates that transmission rates are very low in our schools. Masks along with other safety protocols have helped us accomplish this significant safety achievement. As such, until such time that the Governor and state relinquish that mandate, masks will still be required for all students and staff on school property with previously provided exceptions for specific activities.
Thanks for your ongoing patience and commitment to helping keep our staff and students safe. Let’s finish this school year strong!
Sincerely,
Granite School District
