Shelter in Place – Practicing Safety Drills
This morning we practiced a Shelter in Place Safety Drill. We practice safety drills monthly to make sure we are prepared in the event of an actual emergency. Today was only a drill. There was no actual emergency. During a Shelter in Place, students and staff are brought inside the building and all exterior doors are locked. Cold Weather Inside Day Guidelines
Winter has arrived! Students are kept inside on days where the temperature is below 25 degrees or the air quality is deemed unsafe. When the Air Quality Index is above 150 all students are kept inside. When the Air Quality Index is above 100 students with asthma or chronic lung issues are kept inside.
