Hello Hartvigsen Families,
This Principal’s message comes to you a little later than I intended as the year has already been a busy one!
I hope everyone has settled into the new school year well, as we all look forward to Fall and its festivities.
I was able to travel to Denver this past weekend and enjoyed the beautiful leaves turning different colors in the mountains as we drove through the canyons, I love this time of year!
We had a wonderful turnout for our Parent Teacher Conferences and appreciate those of you that were able to make it, either in person or by phone. We always love talking to you about your kiddos. Our Resource Fair on the Monday night of Conferences, was a huge success, and we hope to continue to enlarge our community resource information to help support you.
Just a reminder, Deb Armstrong, our Transition Specialist, will continue offering our parent workshops 1-2 times per month, usually on the second Friday of the month. More info to follow. If you would like an individual meeting time with Deb to ask questions about DSPD, or other needed resources, please contact her at dkarmstrong@graniteschools.org
We will begin our Hartvigsen Newsletter in October, so please look for that on our Facebook Page and Hartvigsen Website along with other information.
Our amazing PTO, (Parent Teacher Organization), sponsors quite a few school activities for our students and supports school staff. They are always looking to welcome new members and help with PTO sponsored activities. If you would like to join, please contact Crystal Shank at crshank1@graniteschools.org the PTA membership fee is only $6 for the year.
