My name is Linda Cox. I have worked at Hartvigsen School for about 15 ½ years as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). I am just amazed at what our students can learn and accomplish with the help of our teachers, para educators, Music, OT, PT, Speech, and Vision specialists. I love working at Hartvigsen, the staff is wonderful, and I just love our students. Can’t forget the other nurses I work with. They are great. The medical needs of our students are important so they can get the most out of their education here.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Utah and have been a school nurse with Granite District for seventeen years, the last four years at Hartvigsen. Previous to school nursing, I worked in home health care for two years and hospitals for thirteen years. I enjoy working closely with children and being at Hartvigsen gives me a chance to do that on a regular basis.
Jo Anne Watts
Special Duty Nurse
I was raised in Boulder City, Nevada, where I graduated from High School. I raised 5 children and now have 5 grandchildren. I was home with my children and was a secretary for many years. I decided to get a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and graduated from BYU in 2007 and have worked at Hartvigsen as a Private-Duty Nurse for 5 years. I love working with the dedicated staff and especially the children at Hartvigsen. I have many hobbies such as cooking, sewing, boating, camping and have been active in cub scouts for many years. I think exercise is important and find joy in jogging/walking, bicycling, Tai Chi, yoga, and many other activities.
