This year, Hillsdale Elementary did a Fun Run for our school fund raiser on March 17. Students worked hard at getting donations for their participation in the run. On the day of the run, everyone had a great time running laps to great music outside on the field. Each grade level had an hour to run. Lots of teachers and staff joined them. Laps were tallied and some students earned prizes for running the most laps. The classes with the most laps earned a pizza party.
We had our Fun Run awards assembly on March 23 where students who participated with donations had a chance to win a variety of great prizes. Lots and lots of businesses supported us by donating prizes for kids to win. The businesses that helped us out were:

Thank you to everyone who donated and to everyone that helped to make this event so successful and fun for the kids. We were able to earn over $5,000 that will be used for field trips, activities, student awards, and benefits every student at the school is a variety of ways.
