Mission: “Growth for all students”
Academic Goals:
- RISE Achievement: The percentage of students achieving proficiency will increase by 3-4% from the previous year. Goals: 23% in English Language Arts, 20% in mathematics, 25% in science.
- Literacy: At least 60% of students in grades kindergarten – 3rd grade will be reading on or above grade level at the end-of-year as measured by the Acadience Reading Assessment.
Social Development Goals:
- Student Attendance: During the 2025-2026 school year, daily student attendance will be 91% or higher.
- Students’ Self-Efficacy: The percentage of students who report that they believe they can succeed at school will increase by at least 3%. (“We are smart and can do hard things!”)
- Student Citizenship Scores: Students’ report cards will reflect a school-wide average proficiency score of “3” in the Graduate of Granite Skills & Characteristics. (Respect, Communication, Responsibility, Dependability, Hard Work & Resilience)
Talent Development Goals:
- Teacher Professional Learning Communities: Teachers will meet at least 6 times each month, preparing for each meeting with agendas, student data to review, and following a data protocol for the purpose of problem solving student learning on standards.
- Coaching & Professional Learning: Teachers will participate in coaching cycles with the school’s instructional specialists, as well as participate in meaningful professional learning that builds their professional capacity.
