Friday, May 19, 2017 will be the last day that our morning computer lab will be open. Please do not send student to school before 7:45 on the last week of school. Please check your child’s backpack every day to insure that students are not bringing toys to school. We have been collecting a lot of spinners from students. Spinners should be left at home. Students should not bring backpacks the last day of school.
We have some spaces available for our summer packet program. If you would like your child to participate, please pick up an application at the office. The summer packets are picked up each Wednesday and returned the next week for a prize. It will provide your child practice during the summer.
You do not need to register your child for school for next year if they are currently attending school at Hillsdale. Current students are automatically moved to the next school year and will be assigned to a class. If you move during the summer, please let the school know so that we can release your child from our school. If you have neighbors who move in with students, they can come throughout the summer to get registration information.
Next year, the school has a new backpack with some supplies in it for each of our students. We hope that this will help with the cost of getting kids ready to come back. The first day of school next year will be August 21, 2017.
Please put August 17, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on your calendars for our back to school night. You can fill out your free lunch form that night if you bring your information with you. You will be able to meet teachers and take a tour of the building.
We have several para professional (aide) positions available for next year. If you are interested, please let the office know.
Thank you so much for all of your support this past five years. I have truly enjoyed working with you and your children. After 31 years in the district, I am retiring with lots of fond memories.
