Hello Hillsdale Families,
Teachers are sending home SNOW DAY PACKETS Wednesday, 1/17/24. We are not expecting a Snow Day this week, however Utah weather could present unsafe conditions that leads our superintendent to call a Snow Day in the future. Please save these SNOW DAY DISTANCE LEARNING assignments for a future Snow Day.
- There should be TWO packets of school work in the envelope.
- SAVE THESE PACKETS until a Snow Day is called by Granite School District leadership. (Put them somewhere special like on top of the fridge, where special paper is kept at home, in the freezer, etc.)
- When a Snow Day occurs, students are expected to work on ONE of their packets.
- Teachers will be available on Dojo, video chat, phone, or email to answer questions and offer support.
- Students should return their completed packet when they return to school following the Snow Day.
The local news media will broadcast when Granite District is having a Snow Day, and Hillsdale will also send out personalized messages using text and Dojo notifications.
Thank you for keeping these distance learning materials in a safe place so that your child can access them in the event of a Snow Day.
Sincerely,
Monica Thayer, Principal
