Hello Families,
We have had several unfortunate incidents at school this month involving inappropriate and unkind use of cell phones. Hillsdale will be following Governor Cox’s recommendation to not allow any phones at school.
We know many families prefer their child to have a phone for safety reasons, and our teachers are happy to hold your child’s phone in a safe location for them during the school day.
If a student is found with a cell phone, the phone will be taken to the front office, and parents will need to come to school to get it.
We know removing cell phones will help our students to be less distracted during the school day. Please read more from Governor Cox:
