Magna Elementary Families,
We wanted to update you on an ongoing situation in our area today. Nearby Cyprus High School has been evacuated due to the smell of natural gas in their area. The smell is less significant on our campus, and under the guidance of emergency personnel we have decided not to evacuate our school. The school day is proceeding as usual.
Emergency personnel believe they have identified the sources of the smell, and it is unrelated to our campus. All our students are safe and accounted for, and we are confident that there is no danger to our school at this time.
