South Kearns Elementary is located in central Kearns in Granite School District. It was built in 1955 to serve the growing population of Kearns, Utah. All students live within 1.5 miles and are able to walk to school. The school qualifies for the federal school wide Title I program and Head Start.

South Kearns Elementary serves approximately 400 students from kindergarten through fifth grade of various ethnic backgrounds.
Computers and Technology
South Kearns has a 1:1 ratio of chromebooks in each classroom. The school also has two maker spaces which will be used for STEAM activities. The equipment available includes many different kinds of robotic activities as well as 3-D printers. We also have a Lego League Club for 4th and 5th grade students.
Students promoted from this school will attend Kearns Junior High and Kearns High School.
Served each morning in the classroom during the first 15 minutes of the school day.
