Valley Junior High issues Chromebook computers to its students. Before this happens, students and parents need to agree to the following:
- I understand that my Chromebook stays at school. If I leave school before the end of the day, I must turn it in to the office or Mrs. Mondragon. I am not allowed to take it off campus.
- I will take good care of my Chromebook
- I will never leave my Chromebook unattended
- I will never loan out my Chromebook to other individuals, not even my friends. It will stay in my possession or in my locker at all times.
- I will protect my Chromebook by keeping it and transporting it in its protective case.
- I will work with clean hands, and keep food and beverages away from my Chromebook since they may cause damage to the device.
- I will not disassemble any part of my Chromebook or attempt any repairs.
- I will use my Chromebook in ways that are appropriate, meet Granite School District expectations, and are educational in nature.
- I will not place decorations (stickers, drawings, etc.) on the Chromebook or the case and will not damages the labels or serial number on the Chromebook.
- I understand that my Chromebook and my Google account are subject to inspection at any time, and without notice, and remain the property of Valley Junior High and Granite School District.
- I will be responsible for all damage or loss caused by neglect, loss or abuse.
- I will not use photos, videos, and/or audio recordings of myself or any person in an appropriate manner. That include material from the Internet (Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.).
- I will not give out my personal information to anyone (in person or on the Internet) when using the Chromebook, and I will not share my password/accounts with other students.
