School background
Western Hills Elementary is located at 5190 South Heath Avenue in Kearns. All students live within 1.5 miles and are able to walk to school. The school has 22 classrooms. A preschool is also offered to 3 and 4 years old.

Wonders Reading; iReady Math; Imagine Learning online; school assessments.
Computers and Technology
All classrooms have audio/video enhancement, document cameras and smart boards. All students have Chromebooks to use in the classroom. All classrooms have a USB phone. Third thru fifth-graders use Utah Compose to improve writing skills with immediate feedback. Parents can access student progress through GradeBook reports from the Granite web site and also communicate with their child’s teacher.
Student promotion
Students promoted from this school will attend Kearns Junior High and Kearns High Schools.
