I have been fortunate to spend the past 17 years in education, serving students and teachers in a variety of roles. Throughout my career, I have taught kindergarten, third, fourth, and fifth grades, worked as an instructional coach, and served as an assistant principal before becoming the proud principal of Gerald Wright STEM Academy in January 2025. I absolutely love being part of the Wright family! Our STEM focus, incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive community make it an amazing place to learn and grow every day. I believe school should be a place where curiosity is encouraged, challenges are embraced, and every child feels valued and inspired to reach their potential. I grew up on a farm in Idaho, where I learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and community. Outside of school, I love to travel, explore new places, and spend time with family and friends. I truly feel grateful to be part of the Gerald Wright community and look forward to partnering with our families to make every school year fantastic.
