Academy Park was very fortunate to be chosen as the recipient of Olympus High’s Samaritans Feet project. Last Friday, 70 students and several teachers from Olympus High arrived at Academy Park loaded with more than 500 pairs of shoes, socks, and strap packs. Each of our students delivered a personal thank you note to the high school student who helped them put their new shoes on. Several hugs and high-fives were exchanged. Throughout the day, kids were excited to show me their great new shoes, and how much faster they could run now.
