Clothing worn shall be neat and clean, and in good repair.

Pants and shorts must fit at the waist.  Pants and shorts that sag below the waist are not allowed.  Pants must be worn with a top that is long enough to cover your entire stomach area, even when your arms are raised.  Pants and shorts must be hemmed at the bottom.

Belts must be worn tucked into pant loops, and may not be worn hanging down the leg.  Belts and belt buckles may not have gang style writing, letters, or numbers on them.

Shorts and skirts must be your finger tip length, or longer.  Measure this by holding your arms straight down your side, comparing your finger tips with the length of your clothing.  If it’s too short, don’t wear it!

Sleeveless shirts and dresses may be worn.  Straps must be at least 2 inches in width.  Spaghetti straps, thin straps or tops that bare your chest or stomach are not allowed.  Tight fitting tank tops may only be worn underneath another shirt.  To measure whether your top can be worn, raise your arms up over your head.  If your chest or stomach shows, do not wear it.  No revealing clothing is allowed.

Hats, hoods, and bandannas may not be worn inside the school.

For safety reason, flip-flop shoes or sandals are discouraged.  Shoes should fit snugly.  Shoes should have a low heel and a strap so that shoes stay on during physical play activities.  Shoes with rollers in the sole are not allowed.

Clothing with crude, offensive, or abusive language or pictures; or clothing which advertises items not allowed at school (like cigarettes and alcohol) may not be worn.

Remember to label all clothing with your name.  Academy Park is not responsible for any lost clothing.  Check lost and found regularly.
