PTA ACTIVITIES

  • Book Fair: Two weeks out of the year. Book Fairs usually coincide with SEP conferences in September and February. Schedule, set up, get volunteers to work, clean up
  • Bulletin Board: Help keep the PTA bulletin board current
  • Field Day: Organize this one day event the last week of the school year
  • Fundraising: Help organize and carry out our annual PTA Fundraiser
  • Maturation Program: One day in the Spring for 5th Grade students. Schedule speakers, make fliers, refreshments, clean-up
  • Junior Achievement: One day in the Fall. Organize volunteers to teach in each of the classrooms
  • Red Ribbon Week: One week in October, usually the week before Halloween. Organize activities
  • Reflections: October and November. Advertise, get paperwork out to students, collect projects and correct paperwork. Arrange for judging and send winners on to next level. Purchase awards for participants.
  • Road to Success Reading Program:
  • Skyhawk Spirit Awards: Weekly
  • Spanish Translation: Help us translate anything we send home
  • Teacher Appreciation: SEP dinners (September and February) and Teacher Appreciation Week (May)
  • Vision Screening: One day in October. Organize paper work and volunteers
  • Winter Family Night: One day in December. Organize Santa visit, refreshments, and several crafts for students and families
