School improvement is the responsibility of everyone. School Community Councils are one way we can work together to make schools more successful. The School Community Council works to promote school improvement, improve school environment, school safety and provide critical feedback on programmatic issues. We encourage you to become a member of our School Community Council. It’s easy to get involved. School Community Council members serve for a term of two years and must have a child attending our school. The time commitment is around an hour a month. Our school will be holding elections during fall SEPs in September 2014. Our school will have 4 parent member openings for School Community Council. We encourage anyone who is interested to submit a Declaration of Candidacy to the school office no later than 3:00 p.m. on September 12th, 2014.
