Home Reading Logs = FREE Carnival

Each year our PTA encourages and supports our students in home reading by offering to pay for a Spring Carnival so all students can attend free. We have met their challenge the past two years. This year the PTA and school set a high goal of 2,000,000 minutes of home reading. We are sure we can reach this goal, but need each student’s help. Students are required by teachers to read at least 20 minutes each night. These minutes are logged and returned to the teachers monthly. If every child returned completed logs monthly, we would meet our goal. Currently we are lower than we should be. Please help your child complete these forms so we don’t have to buy those $20.00 tickets to the Spring Carnival.
To give us a boost in minutes, the PTA will be holding early morning read-a-thons at 7:30 each Thursday in December. Send your children, or come read with them, to boost skills and help reach our target.
