Principal’s Message: Grade Level Parent Meetings

The Community Council has been busy working to help better meet the needs of Academy Park families. In the November meeting, the Council suggested that parents would benefit from individual grade level parent meetings similar to what kindergarten and first grade are currently doing. This suggestion was presented to the faculty who agreed to hold grade level parent meetings the last week of this semester so parents could better understand upcoming assignments and expectations for the second semester. These meetings will be held during the week of January 12-15. Most grade level meetings will be held from 8:15 – 9:15 a.m. Please watch next week for specific dates and times so you can make arrangements to join us for these informative meetings.
