Medical Excuse Notes

It’s that time of year for sickness to be going around. Good attendance is really important, but if your child is sick with a fever or other severe symptoms, please keep him/her home. If you take your child to the doctor, please be sure to get a doctor’s note excusing your student from school. We appreciate you calling the office when your student is not going to be attending school. Although you call in to excuse your child, a parent’s excuse still counts against their absences. District policy considers more than 7 days or excused absences excessive.  An excuse note from a doctor does not count against their attendance. We appreciate your cooperation.
