AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM—Thank you for your tremendous response to this great opportunity. First week of classes start on Monday Sept 14th. Please watch for confirmation about your child’s registration. We are still looking for more students in 4th, 5th, 6th grades to be in the band or orchestra. Fee waivers are available. Please contact the school for more information about any of our after school options.
STUDENT DROP OFF/PICK UP—Please help us keep our drop off/pick up zone free for that purpose. Parents should not be parking in the yellow zone. If you wish to park, please use the church parking lot across the street. This will greatly help us with student safety!
SECURITY DOORS KEEPING US SECURE—Thanks so much for coming to the office to request permission to go to other parts of the school when school is in session. We know how much you care about the safety of your children. These doors will add another layer of security that I know all parents will gladly support.
TUESDAY TEACHER TALK TIME—Let’s continue to work together to make this a success. It will always be held on Tuesdays EXCEPT when there is a holiday on the Monday before. Take advantage of the opportunity to visit with your child’s teacher on a regular basis.
SEP Conferences are coming up at the end of the month. Please use the Online Scheduler which will is now available to sign up for a conference time that works for you. The window to sign up for conferences will close on Sept 23rd. Sign up early for the best times! See the school website for more information.
Our School Fundraiser will begin on September 21st. It is a very unique fundraiser as we won’t be selling anything! No money, no products! Please check out the K12fundraising website for more information. (See flyer attached)
We continue to need more students to attend our school. We are accepting all Special permits! If you have moved out of the boundary, don’t hesitate to let us know. It is important to have correct contact information on file for each of our Academy Park families.
