First Week Signs of Success

Lots of smiles on faces suggests that the first three days of school were a great success! We taught a few new lunchroom procedures to encourage more eating and less talking. We had a great opening assembly to teach Pledge of Allegiance expectations and to sing the school song. Rule review day on Thursday helped all the new students know procedures and expectations all around the building. And new kindergarten students got tested and ready to start their first days of school next week. We even had an unexpected fire drill prompted by the alarm being tripped during some drilling to install a new service window in the office. Everyone got out safely and efficiently without incident,  so we are off to a great start! Thank you for choosing Academy Park as the place of learning for your children.
