We have a lot of exciting things happening this last week of school. Please check the calendar for updates, and don’t forget that Winter Recess is December 23rd – January 2nd, returning to school on January 3rd.
Here are some updates for Academy Park:
- In January, watch for 2nd Semester Afterschool program registration to come home.
- Lunch treats for Safety Patrol provided by Fire Dept. We love our Student Safety Patrol and want to honor them for their dedicated service to our school!
- New traffic light noise monitor now in use in our lunchroom to remind students to keep voices soft so everyone has an enjoyable lunch. Rewards given to grade levels after five green light days. Parents welcome to join us in lunchroom. We love our parent volunteers!
- Thank you for dressing your children for the cold weather. The building foyer is available for students to wait inside before school if they choose.
- Last day of Term 2 is Jan 12th. No school for students on Jan 13th. New term begins Jan 17th.
