Parents,
Happy New Year Academy Park families! Here are some important information about what is happening at our school this month:
- Midyear DIBELS testing going on all week. This is how we assess how well the students are able to read. Thank you for encouraging your children to be at school on time every day so they can do their best on the midyear test.
- Thank you for dressing your children for the cold weather. The building foyer is available for students to wait inside before school if they choose.
- What’s a Yacker Tracker? It’s a cool device that measures the noise level in a room. It looks like a traffic light with red, yellow, and green to show when the noise level is appropriate and when it is not. We use it in the lunchroom to help students self-monitor so everyone can have a more enjoyable lunch experience. Let us know if lunchtime is a pleasant one for your child. We want it to be a good experience for everyone!
