Some important things to note at Academy Park:
- SEPs are Feb. 13th and 14th from 3:15 pm – 7:00 pm. If you need to sign up, contact your child’s teacher or the office. No half-day Kindergarten on the 13th.
- Please check website air.utah.gov for current information about air quality. Schools use this to guide decisions about inside recess hour by hour. Orange zone means kids with asthma stay inside. Red zone means all students stay inside.
- If you would like your child to stay inside for recess, you may send written notes requesting it whenever you feel it appropriate. We will always honor individual parent requests on a daily basis.
- Community Council Meeting coming up this Wednesday Feb. 8th.
- Academy Park is in search of a Lunch playground supervisor still needed for up to 2 hours per day 11:00—1:00.We are also looking for a recess coach to assist Coach Blake—29 hours per week.
