More Notes and Reminders:
- Boo to the Flu clinic tonight Oct 5th in the library 4:00—6:30. Come get your flu shots.
- Halloween Parade is October 31st. We will start by parading for the parents first this year. Be here by 8:40 to see your child in costume!
- Community Council minutes from September are on the back of this note. Our next Community Council meeting will be on October 25th. Please come if you can at 4:00 in the Family Engagement Center relo.
- Do you know that Academy Park is committed to a safe school for all who attend here? We do not tolerate acts of violence or bullying. Please contact the school if your child has experienced or if you know of someone who is experiencing any bullying or acts that contribute to a feeling of being unsafe. The situation will be addressed promptly by school administration. With everyone working together we can make a difference for good for children!
- If you had free or reduced priced lunch last year it carried over for 30 days, but the time is up now. So if you haven’t reapplied you are now paying full price for lunch. Go online to myschoolapps.com to reapply right away. Note: We also qualify for extra federal money through Title 1 when our numbers of students qualifying for free lunch is over 60% school wide. If in doubt, please apply for free school lunch.
- School Fundraiser products arrived on Oct 5th. Contact the office with questions or concerns. We raised over $5000 for our school and met our goal. Thank you for your support!
