More Notes and Reminders:
- Kindergarten Registration—If your child will turn 5 on or before Sept 1, you can register for kindergarten starting Mar 19th. Just come to the office with birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency. Registration will be ongoing until school ends in May. Please tell your friends and neighbors. Kinder orientation program will be on April 20th at 12:15.
- School Land Trust Plan—School Community Council is in charge of deciding how to spend $50,000 to support student learning. You can help us make a good decision by attending meetings. All parents of children who attend Academy Park are invited to participate.
- Thank you to the friendly, anonymous neighbor who shoveled the snow from our school walkways during our last Sunday storm. It was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated!
- PTA Fundraiser runs March 9th to March 23rd. Please support our PTA! These funds are used to provide so many important services and activities for our school community.
- Upcoming Events—Term 3 ends on Mar 28th. No school March 29, 30, April 2, 3. Report cards go home on April 5th.
- VOLUNTEERS WELCOME—There is so much you can do to support student learning. If you have some time to give, we welcome you! Contact the office or your child’s teacher to set up a schedule.
