COMMUNITY COUNCIL—Our next meeting is this week on Thursday November 15th at 4:00. We hope to see some new faces at our meeting that takes place in the Family Engagement Center—last relo outside the building. We will be discussing ways to help our school be the best it can be. Thank you for participating.
COMMUNITY CENTER—Idaliz Romero, our community center coordinator is hosting a potluck luncheon for parents on Thursday November 15th at 10:00 in the community center. We hope many can join us!
NATIVE AMERICAN PERFORMANCE—Our 3rd grade will perform its annual show on Friday November 16th at 9:00. All parents and community members are invited.
MOBILE FOOD PANTRY—Our next pantry is scheduled for Wednesday November 28th.
OPEN ENROLLMENT—The process of choosing the school where your child attends begins on December 3rd and lasts until middle of February. During this time you may apply to have your child attend any school of your choice. We hope you will continue to choose Academy Park elementary where once you are registered you never need re-apply to attend. That means everyone who is receiving this message.
THANKSGIVING HOLIDAYS—There is no after school program next week AND next Tuesday is a short day. School dismisses at 12:50. There is no school on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Enjoy the long Thanksgiving weekend!
