Background Checks for Volunteers

We appreciate families who want to volunteer in the classroom and when classes go on field trips. Please note the school district does NOT require a formal background check for our family volunteers unless we are putting that family member in a position to have “significant unsupervised access to children”. Generally, volunteers are under the supervision of teachers. We welcome all volunteers who want to make a difference for good in the lives of children.
