One in four students enjoyed having a family member in their classrooms during our first ever Family Hour last week following the Halloween parade. Our Title 1 Parent meeting with Dr. Longberg before the parade was also highly successful with over 300 family members participating as she shared school successes, challenges, and goals. Based on the positive feedback about Halloween we will continue these new traditions next year with a principal discussion before the parade and Family Hour after the parade. Please let us know if there was something you did NOT like about how Halloween day worked at Academy Park this year so we can adjust accordingly.
