We have a new recognition system at Academy Park that includes lanyards and buttons that students can earn. All students received lanyards during our end of semester recognition assembly on Friday, January 17th. Many students also received buttons to recognize growth and proficiency on grade level standards in literacy and math. Attendance was another area of recognition with students receiving buttons for not missing more than one day of school during Term 2 or not missing more than 2 days total since the beginning of the year. We all loved seeing the beaming faces of proud students and teachers. Thank you to everyone who helps our students achieve their best.
