Dear Families,
Teachers are preparing lesson plans for paper and online learning to begin on Wednesday March 18th. Chromebooks and materials will be available for check out/pick up on Wednesday March 18th from 7:30 am–6:00 pm.
To reduce the number of people in the building at once we recommend if your child’s last name begins with A–M please come get your learning materials between 7:30–11:00. Last names that begin with N–Z may come from noon to 3:00. Families who are unable to come get learning materials at any other time may come from 3:00–6:00.
Families WITH internet access who do NOT have a computer at home may come to the school on Wednesday March 18th to check out their child’s Chromebook for use at home. Chromebooks need to be checked out to a responsible adult who will sign the liability for proper care of the Chromebook at home. Internet access is essential for Chromebook use. Please do not check out a Chromebook if you do not have internet access at home.
For families without internet access, teachers have made learning packets that families can pick up on Wednesday as well. Children may pick up learning materials without an adult if no Chromebooks are being checked out.
If you have all the learning materials you need from your child’s teacher YOU DO NOT NEED TO COME TO THE BUILDING AT ALL.
Further learning communications will come directly from classroom teachers. Please stay in regular contact with your child’s teacher. But if you are not successful in your efforts, please contact the school office.
Please remember that breakfast and lunch will be served on all designated school days from 8:00–9:00 for breakfast and 11:30–1:00 for lunch. All children ages 1-18 may receive a meal. Come to the cafeteria entrance for food.
