Dear Parents,
We have been closely monitoring the power outages in the areas we serve throughout this morning and are glad to see that most areas have begun to receive service again. Rocky Mountain Power is working hard. However, there are still a few outages including in your school and community.Â
While our teachers and staff did a great job today providing instruction through the power outage, IF power outages continue to persist through tomorrow morning, we do anticipate a need to close school for a variety of safety reasons (heating, air exchanges, food services, etc.). Since power outages would be impacting homes as well, distance learning would also be canceled for the day.
We will notify you by 6 a.m. Wednesday morning whether we will be able to proceed with the school day or not. Thanks for your help and support as we work to keep staff and students safe.
