Hello Skyhawk Families!
We are halfway through our We LOVE Reading! Month. We have already logged over 20,000 minutes! Keep tracking your minutes on your bookmark and return them each Friday through the month of February! We are hoping to reach our goal of 100,000 minutes by March 2!
Our chocolate fundraiser is wrapping up this week. We will continue to accept money through next Friday, February 24. Thank you to all who have helped sell candy bars! All proceeds will go toward school field trips, playground equipment, and other school supplies.
Finally, a safety tip! Please remember to use our Drop-off Zone correctly. I know mornings are busy and stressful, but nothing is more important than our students’ safety. If you are getting out of your car, please park on the left side of the drop-off lane. The right side of the drop-off lane is for quickly letting students out of the car and moving forward. Idling in your car causes a back-up in traffic. Please only cross the road at the crosswalk. It may be easier to quickly cross right across from your car, but that is dangerous. Our safety patrol members are so good to remind us all of the rules. Please respect them and help them do their job! We appreciate you keeping ALL our skyhawks safe each day!
