I would like to thank everyone who participated in our school food drive for the Utah Food Bank.  Your generosity was overwhelming!  As a school, we collected 1794 food items with fifth grade being the top donating grade.  It was exciting to watch your children's reaction as the five barrels quickly filled causing us to request two additional barrels.  This project was yet another demonstration of the great families we have a Academy Park. ...

Tis the season for spooks and goblins, pirates and princesses.  The annual Halloween Parade will be held Thursday, October 31st @8:45.  Parents are welcome to come watch the parade in the gym.  Halls need to remain clear for safety reasons.  Younger siblings may attend but need to stay with the parent.  Brothers and sisters who attend other schools are not allowed on school property during school hours. Thanks to all who supported the Wasatch Savings Book fundraiser.  We earned nearly $2000 toward our new electronic marquee.  That leaves about $5200 left to earn with our October cookie dough/catalog sale.  I'm confident we can reach this goal and get our new marquee installed in early spring.  Watch for the new fundraiser materials on October 7th.  Our top sellers for the Wasatch Savings Books were: Zachary Young - 7 books; Zach Cloward - 6 ...
