During our both our Community Council meeting and our PTA meeting this month, we discussed the urgent need to find a willing volunteer to be the PTA president next year. We have a new recognition system at Academy Park that includes lanyards and buttons that students can earn. All students received lanyards during our end of semester recognition assembly on Friday, January 17th. Many students also received buttons to recognize growth and proficiency on grade level standards in literacy and math. Attendance was another area of recognition with students receiving buttons for not missing more than one day of school ...

Starting January 27th until February 4th parents can go to our school website, find the Online Scheduler, and make your own appointment for a conference with your child’s teacher. Conferences will be held February 10th and 11th from 3:15—7:15. Please contact the office if you need assistance.
