Welcome to Granite Transition Services (GTS)
At GTS, we help students build the skills they need for life after school. Our program gives young adults the chance to:
- Speak up for themselves and become confident self-advocates
- Explore community resources they can use every day
- Learn job readiness skills to prepare for future work
- Enjoy recreation and leisure activities with friends
- Grow independence in ways that fit their own goals and needs
GTS includes four unique programs that work together to support students:
The Jones Center
The Jones Center Vocational Training (JCVT) site is designed to introduce students to the fields of Culinary Arts and Hospitality. Students focus on learning entry level technical and soft skills relevant to the Culinary Arts Industry.
GT Score
GT Score focuses on increasing independence through: Self-Advocacy, Community, Occupation, Recreation, and Education.
GT Academics
GTS Academics classes help students continue their academic learning with a focus on completing requirements toward a high school diploma.
Pathways to Independence
Pathways focuses on career exploration, community resources, independent living skills, money management, and personal safety.
Every student’s journey looks different, and we’re here to support each step along the way.
