2024 – 2025 School Year

Off Campus Passes

  • Your District Student ID will be your Off Campus Pass. It will be mailed to you. If you do not get one before the first day of school see the front office.
  • You will be getting a sticker from your G.T.I teacher to put on the back of your pass. Please do not leave campus without your Off-Campus pass! You will be required to display it.
  • If you lose your Student ID, you will need to get a replacement ASAP in the Main Office. There will be a nominal fee.
  • You are required to leave the Hunter campus immediately upon release.
  • If you need to change your schedule or drop your G.T.I. class, please see your Counselor first to take care of any issues.

G.T.I. Busing

●   Meet the bus on the east side of Hunter High, outside by the flagpole. Be on time! The bus will not wait for you!

●   Morning G.T.I. students will board the bus before 7:00 A.M. everyday, including Friday.

●   Afternoon G.T.I. students will board the bus before 10:35 A.M. Monday through Thursday. On Friday the G.T.I. bus leaves at 11:00.

●   It is imperative that you make the G.T.I Bus. If you miss the G.T.I bus, go the Career Center. Parents or guardians will be notified so that arrangements can be made for transport, or a place to work.

●   Busing to the G.T.I does not change when we are on assembly schedule or have any other change in our regular schedule school day!

Lunch Arrangements (No eating on bus!)

● Lunch will not be available for purchase at the G.T.I. cafeteria. Students will need to pick up lunch here at Hunter or bring their own.  Students at G.T.I. all day will need to make arrangements with the G.T.I. Front Office.

●   Students can pick up lunch from the cafeteria beginning at 10:15 am Monday-Thursday and 10:40 am on Fridays.

● You must present your Student ID with a G.T.I sticker to enter the cafeteria early, or students can bring a sack lunch.

● Arrange with your 2nd/6th period teacher to be excused early to the cafeteria by showing them your Student ID with the G.T.I sticker.  You are responsible for any information missed, so communicate often with your teacher.

Attendance Policy

●   If you are going to be absent, your parent must make two calls. One to the Hunter High Attendance Office (385-646-5363), and one to the G.T.I. Office (385-646-4350) to excuse you from your G.T.I. class.

●   Attendance policies for off-campus programs are the same as those for classes taught on the Hunter campus. Programs with professional licenses may have additional requirements.

Bell Schedule

●   The GTI Bus Schedule does not change when we are on Assembly Schedule. Make sure you leave on time to catch the bus regardless of Hunter’s bell schedule.

●   You will need to arrange with your teachers at either school when the schedule changes.

Report Cards

●The G.T.I. Teacher determines your term grade and citizenship. Any questions regarding grades should be discussed with the teacher.

Please represent Hunter High and yourself in a positive way. G.T.I. offers you a unique opportunity to explore your potential career path that many of your fellow students will not receive. Make the most of it!
