Topic: Managing Emotions and Coping Skills

Date: Wednesday, October 7th

Location: Lake Ridge Elementary, dinner in the Cafeteria

Parents will learn: How to help your child understand what may trigger a big emotion, talk about their feelings, and build healthy coping skills.

Students will learn: How to recognize what leads to a big feeling, how to identify and label it, and find a healthy was to calm down and feel more in control.

Los estudiantes aprenderán: Cómo reconocer qué provoca una emoción intensa, cómo identificarla y ponerle nombre, y cómo encontrar una manera saludable de calmarse y sentir mayor control.
