The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months and older get a flu vaccine each year to protect against the flu virus. This season’s annual flu vaccine will protect against four different flu viruses (“quadrivalent”); an influenza A (H1N1) virus, an influenza A (H3N2) virus, and two influenza B viruses. Some seasonal flu vaccines known as “quadrivalent” flu vaccines will be formulated to protect against four flu viruses, including an additional influenza B virus.
We will be offering Flu shots on Monday and Tuesday the 16th and 17th of September from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
