Rosecrest Elementary was able to raise $212.45 for the Granite Education Foundation thanks to the many people who gave at least one dollar to help those in need. One extra special third grader student named Gentry went above and beyond in trying to help others. She made cookies and went around her neighborhood selling them. She collected $37 to donate to GEF. Her mom says the family had to pay a higher premium for those delicious cookies. While we are proud of all of our students who donated money, it is a special student who does more than expected that can give us a reminder of how important it is to do for others. Thank you, Gentry, for this reminder.
