Taylorsville Elementary Community,
We are in need of your help. This year we have a shortage of substitute teachers and would greatly appreciate it if any of you are able to be an emergency substitute for Taylorsville Elementary School. Substitute teachers are asked to be at school from 8:50 am to 3:50 pm (1:45 pm on Fridays and short days).
Hourly Substitute Teachers are paid $102.69 for each full day of work. Hourly substitute teachers are also eligible for the Substitute Teacher Incentive Program (click on hylerlinked text for incentive details).
In order to be an Hourly Substitute Teacher, you will need to complete the following:
- Complete the Hourly Substitute Teacher Application (click on hyperlink)
- When the two work references have been completed, Granite Human Resources will contact you to complete the new hire paperwork (listed below) as required by Federal and State law and District procedure:
- I-9 form providing two Forms of ID, i.e., including a social security card OR a current passport
- FBI fingerprint background check ($40 dollar fee to complete)
- Granite District Direct Deposit form with appropriate bank documents, e.g. Bank Direct Deposit form OR a “voided” check
