Hello, I’m Mrs. Sonntag. This is my 20th year teaching, and I have loved every minute of it! I was born and raised in Arizona and started my teaching career in Tucson, AZ as a fourth grade teacher. I eventually moved here to Utah where I first had to, of course, purchase a coat and get used to the frigid temperatures and then I started teaching fifth. I have a husband, three teenagers, three dogs and chickens. My life is a little crazy, but in the free time I do have, I love to go to live theater and discover amazing new places to eat and spend time with my family.
I absolutely love teaching and I strive to cultivate that love of education in all of my students. I believe every student possesses unique abilities and talents worth developing. It is my goal to help recognize and develop these talents as they master learning goals.
