West Valley Elementary is located in West Valley City. It was built in 2000 to help serve the growing population of West Valley City. We are a part of the Hunter Learning Network.

Welcome to Our Community! Home of the Dolphins!

At our school, every student’s unique journey matters. We are proud to be one of only four Advanced Learner Centers (ALC) in the Granite School District, offering tailored academic enrichment for high-ability learners. Alongside our ALC program, our campus hosts three specialized Applied Academic Behavior Units, providing targeted behavioral and social-emotional support.

By combining these specialized programs with our vibrant general education classrooms, we’ve built an inclusive, supportive environment where every child gets exactly what they need to thrive, grow, and succeed.

Mission

As a community, the mission of West Valley Elementary is to empower students and staff to be life-long learners, thinkers, citizens, and explorers engaged in and inspired by the real world.

Vision

West Valley Elementary will strive to create a school where teachers can fulfill their highest expectations, and students can achieve more than they think possible. They will demonstrate pride and ownership in their learning as they grow into responsible citizens who strive for high academic achievement and character excellence.
