Back to School Letter

Registration will be on August 5th from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. If your child is already registered from last year, we ask that you come and verify that the information is correct and change anything that may have changed over the year (like telephone numbers, addresses, email, etc.).

Class lists will be posted on the front windows of the school like they are every year during the first week of August. The teachers worked hard to place each child so please do not ask to be moved to a different class.

Back-to-School Night will be on August 12th from 5:30 – 6:30 in the evening. Come meet your teacher and get familiar with the school if you’re new to the building.

School starts on the 16th of August for 1-5 students and on the 19th of August for Kindergarten students. Start time is 8:35 and the tardy bell rings at 8:40. Breakfast will be at 8:10 – 8:30. Please do not come earlier than 8:10.

There is no online learning offered through the school this year. If you wish to attend the district’s online school, you will need to contact Mr. Graham and go through a rubric that the district has set up to see if you’re eligible to attend the online school. You can contact Mr. Graham at mgraham@graniteschools.org to set up an appointment.

Masks are not required at this time; however, COVID restrictions are still in place such as washing hands, cleaning desks and chairs, social distancing, and grouping students into cohorts for recess and lunch for contact tracing purposes.

We’re so excited to start another school year and can’t wait to see your children. We hope you’ve had a great summer and look forward to seeing you on August 16th.
