Our first book fair for the year starts September 12-16th. It will be tricky because it’s not being held with SEPs. Scholastic asked us to move it forward. They could not accommodate all schools that week. The book fair will be held in the library during regularly scheduled class time. If you would like to join your student in looking for books please come during their recess or lunch hour. The book fair will be held Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM-2:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM. Send money with your student in a sealed envelope with the student name on it or use the ewallet method explained below. Change will be sent home in a ziploc bag.
A very safe and easy way for you to send money for students to spend at the book fair is with ewallet. Click here for the link to set up your students ewallet). You add money to this secure digital account. Your student will not need to bring any cash, we will look them up by their name and see how much they have to spend. They will not, however, receive any change. Any monies remaining will be saved for your next book fair or until you donate it to someone else. Click here for the ewallet we have created if you would like to donate funds to the library or teachers at Arcadia. It says 5th grade but it goes to all the Teachers and Library.
Here are this years library bound (super sturdy) books that will soon be added to our Arcadia Library. The price for Arcadia was $0! These books were purchased using scholastic dollars from book fairs held last year, $1,200 of books for free. We all thank you as our students love to read!!
